Nasi Ayam Penyet

Hey all~~

I'm too lazy with updating my blog nowadays. You know when you do the same thing everyday, boredom appear you know, hehehe... Plus, I've been busy with a lot of major events in my life. Such as, graduation, being a class teacher and many other commitments like Mas 'T', heheh...

Anyways, here are some snaps of nasi ayam penyet from a restaurant at Tamu Selera. Very nice, very cheap, and very yummy, hehe...
Cost only $2.50 per plate and the presentation, sooo the very "Melayu" which I loved the most. I got addicted with nasi ayam penyet because of this and got allergic from the sambal belachan as well, hehehe... But so what, yang penting indulging in it give me wonders.
*Rated 4.5 out of 5*

But, anyways here is another nasi ayam penyet from the 'Pondok Sari Wangi' restaurant.

Tasted quite okaylah, but I love the presentation, the fact that it's served on a 'raga' plate. Of course the taste is also quite nice, not bad lahhhh~~

I rate it 4 out of 5, okay?

Enjoy the pics ayttt~~~

Nasi Beryani Ayam from Maharani Restaurant

Hey All!!!

Nasi Beryani is actually one of my most favourite dish in this world, hehe... The reason for this is because my mother cooked it so well and very delicious berabislyy lahhh... Usually in restaurants especially the Indian restaurant that serve Beryani rasanya okay okay sahaja. But this one restaurant along Jalan Tanah Jambu tasted very nice as well, although quite pricey jua lah, they increased the price already bahhhhhh.... The restaurant's name is 'Maharani Restaurant'. Nasi Beryani Ayam nya I rated 4 half out of 5 cozzz, hehe, my mother's nasi beryani is still the best, hehe...

Here are some snaps of it.

The Beryani comes together with an egg and lotsa chicken pieces which is suppose to be in this metal bowl at first. But since I am too hungry already, I didn't get to take snaps of the Beryani in the metal bowl, hehe... They serve it with some salad which is made up of yoghurt and onion and some daun sop I think ( very nice as well, unique taste coz usually other restaurants serve it with acar kannn?)

Here is a snap of the Beryani on my plate... So yummmmmmmmmmmy, smpai ku salivate udah ni, uwekkkkkkk, nanti pas raya I will go there lagi, hehe... :D

3 Layer Tea

Hey All!!!

Here are snaps of the one thing I've been craving all this while. The '3 Layer Tea' from DeRoyalle Cafe in BSB. It has this unique taste and I dunno why, very nice lah, but quite pricey. Once in a while why not right. I loved the place and very calming lah to sit around with Mas 'T', hehe...
I rated it 5 out of 5. Cold, not too sweet, nice, pokoknya aku sukalahhhhhhh....

Ohhhh yeah, I even had the Nachos which is very niceeeeeee, so loving it, just having light meal after my sungkai dinner, hehe... :D
Rated 5 out of 5. Taste totally scrumptious and lip-smacking lahhhh. Even Mas 'T' loved it. The only thing is that the sauce is beef ajaaa, which I try to avoid but I just ate it anyway, hehehee... Could not resist it, hehehe... *blush*

Oh yeah, and a little compliment from Mr. Stephen during that night coz he still remembers us from last time masa me interview for translator *blech* hehehehe... Anyhow, so generous of him, but all and all very nice. The cake is called 'Mango cheesecake'. Rated 4 out of 5.

Till next time. I'll be featuring the best Nasi Beryani which I so loved and it is so aligned with my mother's cook, hehe...

I liked the fact that it is affordable and banyak isinya... $3.50 for a big square container tapau ah, not the normal nasi tapau. Inside the rojak ada sotong, cucur, timun, telor, ubi gantang, sos kacang, tauhu and dis buah putih i forgot namanya. Pokoknya, it has every bit of every thing dat I like from a rojak. The sauce is yummy lah pokoknya...

MAKAN AMBUYAT - mian jalit (bahasa tutong)

Sorry for the lacking of updates, been really really busy with work and all, hehe...
Here I featured the economical and nice ambuyat, a restoran yang kana buat di rumahnya which is 'Restoran Selera Babu'. It's freshly cooked, delicious and most importantly, economical. The place would be at Sungai Akar along jalan to the Stella's school.
It only cost $10 for two. Pokoknya, very worth it lah, for me. Yang paling penting, cacah ambuyat atu dapat dicampur binjai with tempoyak, and combination nya very nice lahhhh, loved it alot... PLUS it's very near to my house, hehe, can easily go there whenever am craving of it.

Won't say no more, since some people are just visual learner, hehe... :D

Till next time...

CONGRATULATIONS B.A. PRIMARY EDUCATION GRADUATING 2009

Alhamdulillah, thanks to Allah for the generous gift for Me. 4 years I've been waiting for this day. Today our degree classification is OUT. And I got 2:1 (Second Upper), isn't dat something? hehe... Although it is a bit disappointed that I didn't get 1st class, I am still grateful with what I have. Thanks Allah, syukur berabislah pokoknya.

The 4 years that I had been through really do paid off. We've been tortured mentally as well as physically. I still remember the first time I walk in to my ICTC (Mogana) class during the 1st semester, my confidence was purely fragile at that moment since I entered late (due to the fact that I changed course because of my June results). It certainly is a MIRACLE to be given a chance to move from diploma to degree. It's also a great honour for me really.

As time goes by, I become closer and made friends with some. Some are closer to me, others distant. We share our moments of happiness as well as sadness together. It's really building ME for what I am now. Especially to my beloved friends the CAWIRIAN CUTIES. Wow guys, we MADE IT!!!! I am so proud of US. After all we've been through I still cannot believe that we're finally graduating, seriously!!! Who I am now is really because of all of you, those friends who always stick round with me and stayed by my side selaluuuuuu.... Without all of you, I'd be nothing really, just Plain Ayun. hehe..

Really missing the moments we had together. Eating Afid's mother's nasi pulut with the telor masin which I loved the most, doing our groupwork together, presentation, EXAMS especially which I really missed, eating together at the cafe and before that eating with our lunchboxes, chit chatting, laughing our hearts out, facing moments of difficulty together and such, panicking together because of courseworks or assignments to be dued in a day or two, hahaha; awwwwww, it's just so touching if I was to recall every bits and pieces of it.

All and all, I would like to thank all of my friends in B.A. Primary Education, especially my beloved Cawirian. Thanks for the support, words of wisdom, the friendship, the laughter and not to forget the tears and sweat we shared together. It's been totally wicked and amazing years which we've been through. I would also like to say sorry if ever my words and actions which is in such a way might somehow hurt you mildly or deeply.

Now, we are just waiting for the graduation day, our BIG day. After that, we will all go to different paths of our life. Whatever you do, I wish you all the best in your future undertakings and careers.

Will be posting about US when we really really graduate udah, hehe... Till then see you next time and do keep in touch. I will always mish all of you... *BIG HUG*

MURTABAK POPIA

Hey All!!!

Sorry for the lacking of updates. I got a job apparently (finally) as a relief teacher. Syukur Alhamdulillah berabis lah, eventho the relief allowance (we are not to call them gaji, coz ia bukan gaji really but elaun) lambat kuar possibly. But hopefully lahhh, mine won't come out that late. Guess wat, I was LUCKY to return back to my TP school. Oh how I miss my 3A pupils. Every time they passed by the 5A class while I'm teaching, I couldn't help but smiled and wave at them... It's difficult to resist it coz I had become emotionally attached to them. Sweet memories lahhhh...

Anyways, heyyy, dis blog is not bout ME (maybe little little laaa 'can' kan? heheh)... This post will be bout the best MURTABAK POPIA besides the one in Limbang. At Limbang they usually sell it at a price of RM 1.00, but as time goes by, the price parachuted to RM 1.20. But nowadays, I could only find it on rare occassions which made me very disappointed, REAAAALYYYYYYYY....

I could only find the MURTABAK POPIA sold at a gerai at Jalan Manggis Dua yang jual kuih muih tuuu dekat kedai India and Dobi ahhh... Always a lot of people went there coz it's famous for selling a wide selection of food.
It tasted very nice, really, price B$1.00 only bahh, composed of:

  • Kulit popia
  • Telor
  • Bawang besar
  • Daging cincang

  • Mixed vegetable

Usually by 9am already habiss lah, and sometimes I'm disappointed by it jua, sal if akher bangun inda jua ampit tuuuu, uwaaaaaaaaaaa... especially when I'm desperately craving for it, yetah sesiapun banar tuuuu... Oh yaaa, if u want to buy it better awal bangun, round 7am pun ok tuuu, hehe, coz selalunya abis wahhhh, coz laku berabis lahhh... And if panas-panas yatah yang nyaman tuuuuuuuuuu, nyum nyum nyum.

Finally, I managed to snap pictures of it. Enjoy all...

See ya next time...

Kolo Mee

Kolo Mee is one of my favourite dish. It has that soy sauce flavour which makes very nice and the noodles which is very thin.

This image is the Kolo Mee from Thai Food Restaurant, it's okay, rated 3 1/2 out of 5, hehe... I was craving then... It's okay. The PRESENTATION of it would be rated 4 out of 5, looked simply irresistible. But Hey, never judge by its look, hehe...

My personal description of an 'IDEAL' Kolo Mee would be consisting of:

  • Soy sauce (not too oily, salty or too much)

  • Thin noodles (mesti inda buleh karing or crispy, cause it tastes ewwwwwww)

  • Wantan thingy yang isinya ayam or udang, nyum nyum

  • Fish cakes sliced on top

  • A li'l bit of sawi

  • Minced chicken or isi ayam pun boleh

  • Price ranging 2.50-3.00
I've also tasted the Kolo Mees in Gadong Properties, Jaya Hypermart and Sumbangsih Mulia. Oh yeah and one more place, somewhere in Miri, dats nice too.. But they don't call it Kolo Mee in Miri, something different lahh, forgotten already, hehe... So far the best would be at Jaya Hypermart, coz it's very cheap ($2.20), except for the soy sauce, hehe... But yeah, it's worth it. Still in the process of discovering the best of the best, hehe...

Ciao...
